The 2010 XXL Magazine Freshmen 10 cover should be dropping any day now. In case you need a refresher the ‘Freshmen 10′ is 10 best up and coming artist that are set to blow in the coming year. Last years edition featured Kid Cudi, Wale, Asher Roth, and Curren$y to name a few. All of the above has seen their careers go to the next level in the past year. There was some busts though, Ace Hood never really made noise since the cover, B.o.B. is dope but his album continues to get pushed back, Blu all but dissapeared and Charles Hamilton ethered himself by beefing with everybody and had to take a haitus to regroup. Not to mention that XXL didn’t put a guy named Drake on the cover, maybe you heard his name last year. This list isn’t HYPE LG’s list of the best artists to blow in 2010, (although most of the list is), this is who we predict will be on this years XXL Freshmen 10.

***WILD CARD*** Jay Electronica- Although I don’t see XXL putting Jay Electro on the cover, he should be because of his talent and cult-like following with just a handful of released songs.

think i agree with this list man….its weird cause technically drake should be on there cause he aint make it last year…and really skyzoo needs to be in there sumwhere
Skyzoo should be on there but I wouldn’t consider him a Freshman, he already had a dope album released.
I would like to see the dude DOM KENNEDY on there too
I hope Dom make it to the list. But u think they will put Pac div nd travis porter on the list when its three of in each group?
