Sometimes it feels like a serious stretch in order to put together a collection of the year’s best; this time around, it was difficult to cut it down to a solid 20.

Some were picked because they’re the work of directors and artists who raised the bar, in each case these are videos I think you’ll want to watch on your computer, over and over.
