Here is some behind the scenes footage of the Clipse’s ‘Popular Demand (Popeyes)’ track featuring Cam’ron. The video was filmed in NY and should be available soon.

The horns sound like the joints from So Ambitious on BP3?

Regardless it sounds sick. I love the fact that the Clipse have such a strong cult following. Reminiscent of the NY artists in the early 90s. Just modernized. Everytime the Clipse breathe on something the internet moves.—> http://ayindesimon.posterous.com/cult-brand-the-clipse

Sounds like the same horns. That is a good point The Clipse do have a cult like following, I believe that it is because they make good music but will never sell a million records so the fans that they do have go hard for them

When the Clipse came with “Lord Willin’”, that was probably the closest they were gonna get to a full blown mainstream status. They had the backing of the Pharrell from the early 2000 era when he was producing for everybody, featuring for everybody, front row in the videos, and back when all 3 of them together had everybody yell “STAAAAAARRR TRAAAAAAAK”. They had Pharrell on the first 2 singles (“Grinding” & “When The Last Time”) and a pre-falling-off-the-map (and still thick. Yum.) Faith Evan on “Ma, I Don’t Love Her”. Plus they had 2, COUNT UM, 2 “Grindin’” Remixes. A Hip Hop version with the Weezy I loved, The Birdman I hated THEN AND NOW and N.O.R.E.(Pharrells step-child. lol). Then they had a whole REGGAE REMIX!. The Clipse will forever be underrated and overlooked but real recognize real. The Underground Kings of the East.
