I was going to make a Hype 5 about “The Five Best Hip Hop Skits”, but I couldn’t get it down to just five. Fortunately, the people at Indiediot put this playlist together of some of the most comical hip hop skits. All of the classics are there including “Woodrow The Base Head” from Ghostface Killah’s Supreme Clientele album, “Method Man” from Wu Tang’s 36 Chambers album, and “School Spirit” from Kanye’s College Dropout album. One that isn’t on the list that should have been is the skit from Outkast’s Aquemini at the end of “Return Of The G” when the two guys are in the record store. Redman’s “Mr. Ice Cream Man” skit off his last album was the funniest I’ve ever heard.
